Such a simple delight this steak supper..
Sometimes it’s best just to let the meat do the talkings ..
Starting with a very fine cut of steak from butcher Dave.. Aged beautifully
The only thing with it was there was quite a bit if hard fat.. So for speed and ease I removed a bunch of it..
Now I am the first to say that fat means flavour .. yet the removal of this hard fat did not detract from the beauty of this beast . I can assure you!
The steak was tossed in pimped garlic and chilli oils and Bristol blend pepper scrunched over the top.. Easier to do this in the bag it came in!
A simple salad of mixed tomatoes and capers with a little red onion diced was the pal of this dish.. Along with a piece of buttered French bread..
Just make sure you rest the steak well..
