So after a real hectic time (yet #fabulous of course!).. with the catering side of life.. it’s time for a small break..
and where better than to head out to one of the great food places on the planet.. Marrakech .. well 30 mins away more towards the amazing Atlas Mountains.. (a trip into the medinas of Marrakech is on the cards though of course!)..
so after a flight that also involved a refuelling stop for the plane .. making it a real long journey. We arrived to a magical place.. a few cold beers.. splitting an excellent burger and fries too.. we bedded down in really rather opulent surroundings..
Awaking to take a walk through the olive teees and oranges and lemons to a fabulous breakfast spread..
The weather is a little rainy .. so a mid morning spent watching movies and the rain.. (it’s quite delightful out here!). It was time for brunch…
and woweewoodledoodle.. this was some seriously fabulous foods!
Amazing salads.. with the lightest baba ganoush ever! this is a real deal treat I tells ya!
A stylish and so clean tasting start..
Moving onto the meats.. a mountain chicken.. with tagine veggies.. a beef bourguignon that was off the chain..
Mrs Fitz declaring the beef one of the best ever! (Mind you she also declared last nights burger as her second fave ever!).. there really must be something about this food!
The produce they use here is bang on.. and the place? Well I am very happy with this kinda joint I tell you! It’s got a totally chilled yet ‘up there vibe’.. sure it’s a little shabby chic in places .. yet very welcoming!
Ok.. puddings..
A choc mousse.. a cheese cake.. a crumble.. fresh donuts split and smeared with homemade ham.. and a glass of excellent domaine de sahari white wine!
That’s us out of action for a while!
The weather will be brighter tomorrow and our driver and guide will loop us about the place for the afternoon and early evening..
see you later alligator !
Best brunch in Marrakech I say.. ok so it is outside of Marrakech.. try it when you get a chance.. no disappointment and worth the cost.. 110%
