We are having a fabulous time right near to the beautiful Atlas Mountains.. 

when your morning views are like this.. 

It’s really pretty cool.. 

and a wander just down the road to pick wild prickly pears for a snack..

 
Plus a journey out to look at some arty things..

Did you know they had lions in the Atlas Mountains. ? A more agile ‘hunter’ if a lion I am told.. sadly they are no more… shame that .. 

so let’s talk steak and potatoes and salads.. like really rather wonderful fresh foods.. 

first a carpaccio of veggies for me ( yup really really..).. and delicate fishies for Mrs Fitz .. plates all eaten.. and feeling very pleased with ourselves 

  
it’s time to jack up the meat.. a perfectly cooked tenderloin for Mrs Fitz and mountain lamb chops basically marinated for moi..

The potatoes out here are fab .. really wish I could score them back home.

That’s a wonderful garlicky butter and cream sauce.. dipping the super fresh french bread into it made it all the more fabulous!
