With some of that delicious and now really pungent Chimchurri marinated flap steak needing eating .. It had to be snuggled up with a few buddies in a soft flatbread…
The bread?
Plain flour 250 grms
Teaspoon salt
Pinch sugar
Pimped Mrs Middletons roscoff garlic oil
Water
Pinch of baking powder
Mixed up and kneaded a bit to get a dough .. Wrapped in black plastic and left in a warm dark place..
A salsa is required so three baby plum.. A little red onion, mint, coriander and parsley.. Onion powder .. Salt , balsamic and franks hot sauce.. All chopped , sploshed and shook..
For some crunch an iceberg lettuce and a Rudge cucumber mixed with some jalepenos .. And a little coarse sea salt..
White onion, mushrooms and jarred peppers all chopped up and fried off in a little more mrs Middletons pimped roscoff garlic oil.. (Am officially out of oil again!)..
The steak cooked off in the iron pan till medium rare.. Cut against the grain.
Breads expertly rolled by Mrs Fitz.. Cooked on the iron plate for like thirty seconds a side.. Lovely little bubbles..
All assembled and snuggled up tight to each other.. Sour cream added.. And very much enjoyed!!!
