I am actually the son of a very esteemed chap .. Heck that’s for another day!!

Went to my butchers to pick up a bunch of supplies for sausages and kebabs.. And a great hand of pork to cook in the crockpot for pulled pork tonite… Movie night tonite!

Whilst there they were taking the breasts outta a bunch of pheasants ..

They were a little ‘high’ .. The birds not the butchers haha ha !!!

So they were taking just the breasts to sell ..

After a good talking with Dave the butcher.. (Look out for some YouTube butchery videos soon .. )..

I managed to convince him to let me have the carcasses .. Actually didn’t take much persuasion.. X

So I ended up with sixteen birds sans breasts.. Great leg meat and fantastic yellow fat..

Ummmm ok now what??

Easy peasey .. Chop the bee jee zuss outta it!!

That’s great hound food for Mr Wentworth and Cora Murley.. And they started tucking in before I could chop it all . Mrs Fitz came home for lunch and I don’t think she was too happy with the dexter like scene that was happening in the kitchen!!

The hounds were having a wonderful time, as I chopped it up they got fed..

I was pretty surprised at the amount we got outta them.. Mixed with some dry food that’s them sorted for at least a month!!

Need to portion it up now .. And ummm find space in the freezers!!

I must tell you.. That pork is smelling great!

And my good helpers are going to be real happy!!
