Chinese New Year lunch

Decided to celebrate the Chinese New Year at our favourite, and probably the best Chinese restaurant in Milton Keynes.

Decided to go at lunch time since we can get a selection of dim sums that we can’t get at night.

So popped in at 1 o’clock. Just managed to get a table. The place was heaving with Chinese families, always a good sign.

We had five dim sums:

  • Chicken’s feet in a wine sauce. It was nice but it is served cold which was a surprise since I normally have them in black bean sauce served hot.
  • Scallops with prawn sui mai.
  • Crispy squid rings.
  • Prawn spring rolls.
  • De luxe dim sum platter.

All served with the usual spicy chilli dips.

We also had a pot of Chinese tea as usual.

Great lunch and it only cost £21.50 including gratuity!

Definitely recommended. If you haven’t been before you must have a go if you are ever in the area.
