Decided to celebrate the Chinese New Year at our favourite, and probably the best Chinese restaurant in Milton Keynes.
Decided to go at lunch time since we can get a selection of dim sums that we can’t get at night.
So popped in at 1 o’clock. Just managed to get a table. The place was heaving with Chinese families, always a good sign.
We had five dim sums:
- Chicken’s feet in a wine sauce. It was nice but it is served cold which was a surprise since I normally have them in black bean sauce served hot.
- Scallops with prawn sui mai.
- Crispy squid rings.
- Prawn spring rolls.
- De luxe dim sum platter.
All served with the usual spicy chilli dips.
We also had a pot of Chinese tea as usual.
Great lunch and it only cost £21.50 including gratuity!
Definitely recommended. If you haven’t been before you must have a go if you are ever in the area.
