Lunch at STK

‎Had a lunch meeting today.. in STK.. I recall Father sending me a terrible review written by Jay Rayner in the Guardian.. awful and very unfair I reckon.. it is what it is.. a very expensive steak house!! Is it worth the money? Well it’s an experience..

Skipped starters.. went for mains and dessert..

‘steak flight’ a trio of 100gram steaks.. fillet sirloin and rib.. a nice taster.. chopped salad and roasted mushrooms as sharing sides.. we skipped the offered stilton bread.. did look good though.. x

The steaks medium.. although not pink.. I think pretty well cooked.. well they should be right!!??

Hmmm perhaps a little less cooking next time.. ‎maybe go for medium rare instead.. just to be sure..

Mushrooms.. ok.. they were just mushrooms..

Chopped salad? Nice and dressed simply yet well.. x

For desert.. the carnival thingy.. a selection of lovely sugary delights.. pop corn, candy floss, donuts, ice creams, marshmallows and toffee apples ‎.. a lemonade just to ensure that the sugar levels were right up there!!

A nice lunch.. ‎a good meeting.. nitemare with the trains.. still was a nice jaunt out x
