Welsh lamb curry two ways

welsh lamb curry?

Well it’s not a welsh recipe.. It’s Welsh lamb.. Some bits hacked off one of those great legs I managed to score a while back..

Defrosted and fried off..

First one will be a bhuna ala the @pataks family.. Their sauces really are rather good when you just want to hit something up quick..

That simply blips away for about half hour..

The other has a cupboard staple of Mitchells Karson saag can added to it with some chopped fresh baby plum tomatoes.. An extra spice seasoning courtesy of the Shan family..

Admittedly looks a small bit swampy.. Yet the taste is superb!

That again just needs to blip blip away..

Then it’s gotta go into foil takeout style cartons.. Just has to!

With good fistfuls of fresh coriander

( it looked like this prior to adding the coriander)..

So to go with we still have some of that excellent quick flatbread from the other day..

And of course a stack of popadoms !!

Fried off in straight up Mrs middletons oil..

You just have to have a stack of them right? 😉

All served up..

Oh with the remainder of that chicken from the other day too!

Gotta love fridge foraging huh?

(And still more to keep for another day..)..

  1. They both look fabulous. I love the swampy description! Wish my husband ate lamb.
