Lucys vegan ‘sausage’ rolls..

I have this blogger pal that I really enjoy reading posts from.. And this one had me intrigued.

The Ultimate Veggie Sausage Rolls and Tanners White Burgundy

So it just had to be made (admittedly I gave them to Mama as a gift..)..

Where did I start?

Ok.. Let’s press play huh?

Blitzed two slices of brown bread ..

Adding grated apple and chopped white onion.

A drained can of borlotti beans.. Japanese soy sauce, smoked Spanish paprika, Bristol blend pepper and maldon salt..

Whizzed up..

A sheet of puff pastry .. And the filling placed atop..

 Brushed with organic soy milk.,

Chopped into two bite pieces..

Baked in a preheated 200 degree (real money!).. Oven

Then cooled..

I had a taste.. Sure they were nice.. Yet missing piggie.. Definitely missing piggie ..

Hehehehe.. 😜

  2. I find it a true challenge to cook vegan food but would love to cook more. The sausage rolls looks great but I think I might miss the piggie too! 🙂

  4. Yum! This sounds delicious, I love all the fresh (and even seasonal) flavors you have going on in there. I’m sure you miss the meat! I’m used to your dishes having meat in them. Thank you so much for bringing these to the fiesta. I just love to see when bloggers recreate dishes from other blogs. Happy FF, and have a wonderful weekend! 😀
