Vegan (for sure) cauliflower fritters

These are vegan for sure.. I know they are.. I made em!!

Something a little different yet tasty was required for lunch .. These are just that thing.. (And having bought a 50 pence cauliflower in the local coop.. )

Not sure if you would call them pakoras? Or what’s the name for the tempura style ones ? Tempura?

Well this is kinda neither yet very tasty I must say! Mrs Fitz was very happy with them..

What the recipe then? Ok.. And this is in particular for my attorney who was very interested in it!

The batter.. Gram flour, med flower sea salt ,mango powder , a little chilli flakes, and garlic and coriander seasoning powder.. Some Lebanese herb mix .. Great stuff that..

All loosened up with water .. Some cornflower added as it seems to add a little something to the mix..

The cauliflower? Simply cut into the kind if pieces you would like to eat..

The lot mixed together and fried in sunflower oil.. Am out of Mrs Middletons.. Humph!

Drained on ikea brown paper of course..!

Served with a tzatziki from st Michaels and a sweet and hot ketchup from maggi..

This was a proper nice lunch !!!

Very different and totally vegan .. Oh hang on I guess the Greek yoghurt wasn’t vegan.. Ooops…
