What for lunch today?
Hmmm. Feeling a little inspired by a new book received yesterday.. Simple food, classic easy numbers.. Nice..
So.. Chop up roscoff onions (last ones left now.. Boo till next season.. )
Boil and slice spuds.. Red ones.. Not too waxy..
Chop up swedish sausage ala freezer
Fry.. In butter and olive oil
Twist of pepper.. Addition of fresh sage and dried thyme..
Add a good slosh of the reserved porcini juice that has been in the fridge for maybe just a little too long x
Hard fry now to finish… Browned up till liquid gone
Served with that wonderful stokes ketchup
Nice.. And the kitchen smelt great too!
Big smile x
