Fried chicken for breakfast? Is this Vegas?
(I did have fried chicken for breakfast once in Vegas.. Along with Yukon mash and gravy.. And it was the business!)..
Yet it’s not really the thing you should have for breakfast.. Unless you are my godson and you replied to the question the night before of
what do you want for breakfast?
With the answer ..
fried chicken
So that what Patrick got ..
Chicken thighs boned and covered in a colonels secret recipe .
Left overnight.. Then fried in mrs Middletons oil..
And thoroughly enjoyed by a young boy who got to sleep in.. Technically this was probably more of a brunch than a breakfast.. Yet he had just woke up..
The pasties?
Some left over pie mix from Pats pie.. Chopped up with mixed veg added..
Some leftover beef dripping butter pastry..
Rolled out..
Filling in..
Folded over..
Forked up..
Egg washed..
Into the oven till Goldeny lovely..
Smelling great!
Served up with a little wild rocket dressed in newmans balsamic.
Proper tasty !

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Luckily I’m only 400 miles away and a 30 minute plane ride from Vegas, Baby. They don’t call it Sin City for nothin’
Happy Holiday Mr. Fitz
