Indian supper

We are supposed to be having an Indian summer.. I think we have been on another channel.. We seem to have missed it.. So instead we are having an Indian supper..

Lucky I made all of this prior to spending the early evening in the pub..

So reheating and and expert rolling was all that was required by Mrs Fitz

The food?

One..

Mushroom and pea curry ..

Simple..

Ginger and garlic paste and ghee cooked out.. Garam masala added. A diced squeezed tomato added.. Frozen peas and a splash of water… Umm that really is it! I gotta say it’s delicious!

Sarson kaag with jersey potatoes.. All out of cans!!!! Mixed and cooked together to get them to know each other a little better..

A lamb curry.. Meat masala spices cooked with garlic and ginger paste.. In ghee.. A tomato and three smallish onion added.. Water.. Cook it down..

It really was all that simple!! Yet so tasty! Chef ping helped out when eating time came around..

The breads .. I added some milk powder this time.. Don’t think I will again..

My usual mix .. Left to rise.. Then rolled and cooked on the iron pan..

Popadoms fried off quick for crunch.. Pretty tasty spread!
