Lamb hotpot = food hug

Food hugs required in the Mr & Mrs Fitz home.. The kind of hugs that just wraps you up and holds you tightly ..

Let’s you know that things will be ok.. And they will.. We know they will..

This supper falls into that category ..

A simple one pot number

Lamb leg cubed roughly.. Sealed off.. I like to seal off half and half.. I think it adds another element to the final food hug.

Carrots, onions, celery herbs and seasonings into the pot and topped with water.. A drained can of white kidney beans added for extra food Valium inducement..

Potatoes cut into rounds and placed on the top.. Butter on top of that..

This is one that you look at and think how can that ever work? Try it.. It really does ..

Into the oven at 180 real money for two and a bit hours.. you can turn it off then and the residual heat from the pot keeps it warm..

And into a bowl to enjoy a classic food hug..

Cool…
