Mrs Fitz and I took a stroll through the village of Olney today.. with the porpoise of eating lunch at Melis.. a Turkish joint..
We arrived early.. and we’re greeted by a smiley chef.. who said he was just waiting on his waiter.. strange when you read that back!! Yet you get-it right? X
Decided on a selection of 7 cold mezze.. and two hot ones of choice.. Turkish sausage for me.. A pancake thingy in breadcrumb for Mrs Fitz who swore it was delicious.. Turkish sausage not bad yet not the full on’green lanes’ experience..
The main of a house special.. a wonderful assortment of grilled meats.. and rice.. of course!
Very tender.. very nice.. a lemonade.. and two fizzy waters for us.. and we were 45 pounds (gbp) lighter.. both deciding the food was fresh clean an excellent.. yet this would be a treat..
Good though x
