Rack of lamb with tumeric roasties

‎Had a lovely supper of that most exquisite cut of lamb possible.. the french trimmed rack.. apart from the ‘crown’ of lamb.. (that I wore once raw for Christmas.. long story.. lots of adults ‘candies’.. great fun.. took a while to clean my hair though!) x

Roasties in goose fat.. a reduced waitrose special.. wouldn’t normally pay the money for these type of things.. yet feck it it’s the holidays right? ‎#waitrose #christmaswaitrose #feckitschristmas #goosefatspuds #mrfitzcooks

Extra dashing of turmeric.. Olive oil and chill and garlic salt.. roasted for for over the time allotted.. and wickedly nice they were!!

The lamb? Not even seared.. just olive oil.. onion powder. Chilli and garlic.. put in the oven.. 20 mins..

Served with? Red chard, spinach, and french green beans.. simmered in french sea salt and irish butter..


served with mojo sauce smuggled back from lanzarote.. wonderful stuff x

Great supper.. absolutely great x
