Jack Taylors -The simplest curry ever

‎Had a lovely Slice Sausage for lunch on white buttered bread with a drizzle of brown sauce while thinking about what to cook for dinner.

As I was putting the sauce away I noticed a jar of Rogan Josh ready cooked sauce we had put aside for a rainy day. I looked out the window and thought this definitely qualifies.

I didn’t have any lamb but had some chicken thighs in the freezer so straight onto the black magic plates, skinned and sliced and put to the side until ready.

Christine didn’t want rice with the curry so I decided to make some nann bread using the bread maker to make the dough. So easy, put everything in the pot, pressed the right button, waited for the 2 hrs 20 mins, took the dough out, cut it into 4 pieces and rolled them to the right shape.

All that was necessary was to put them under a very hot grill for a few minutes when the curry is ready and hey ho.

When I got back from the Nags I put the chicken into the wok for a few minutes and then added the sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes more while the nann bread cooked under the grill.

All done and delicious, served with some mango chutney.
