Cauliflower tempura

This deserves its own place on cookingwithmrfitz.com

A cauliflower.. Floretted.. ( is that a word ? Yeah it is .. I say so.. )..

 

Some asofetida added.. With some Urfa pepper.. 

Then into the tempura batter mixed up with ice cold water.. 

 

Into neat Mrs Middletons oil… Uncle Bens wok helping out here..

 

Till crispy and lovely!

The tempura batter steams the cauliflower inside.. Making a softy middle and super crispy outside..

Drained on ikea brown paper ..

 

With a little sweet chilli sauce these are the bizness..
